Mental Health Therapist – Older Adults, LICSW, LMFT, LMHC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to seniors through telehealth services.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals and requirements.

• Oversee an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with the backing of the care team.

• Complete documentation in the EMR system utilizing AI-assisted notes.

• Participate in regular, compensated case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Provide telehealth therapy entirely from the comfort of your home.

• Collaborate with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leaders, and provider support personnel.

• Assist older adults facing grief, loss, isolation, and challenging life transitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in the United States.

• An active, independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent) in the state where this position is offered is required.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy is necessary.

• Experience with older adult or geriatric populations is preferred.

• Must be comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Experience with Medicare billing is a plus.

• 1099 contractor candidates should be available for a minimum of 15 hours each week.

• W2 employee candidates must be available for at least 25 hours each week.

• A commitment to conducting at least 15 weekly sessions with Sailor Health is required.
