Mental Health Therapist – Older Adults, LCSW-R, LMFT, LMHC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to elderly patients through telehealth services.

• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual goals and needs of each patient.

• Oversee an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with the support of the care team.

• Conduct documentation in the EMR utilizing AI-assisted note-taking.

• Participate in regular, compensated case consultations with skilled clinical leaders.

• Provide therapy remotely to patients throughout the United States.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within the United States.

• Possess an active, independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent) in the state where this position is advertised.

• Hold a Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Preference for candidates with experience working with older adults or geriatric populations.

• Must be comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Experience with Medicare billing is advantageous.

• Availability as a 1099 contractor starting at 15 hours per week.

• Availability as a W2 employee starting at 25 hours per week.

• Required to conduct at least 15 sessions weekly with Sailor Health.
