Mental Health Therapist – Older Adults, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to elderly clients through telehealth platforms.

• Develop customized treatment plans tailored to each patient's objectives and requirements.

• Oversee an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with guidance from a supportive care team.

• Complete patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) utilizing AI-assisted notes.

• Participate in regular, compensated case consultations with seasoned clinical professionals.

• Provide telehealth therapy services entirely from a home environment.

• Assist patients dealing with grief, loss, isolation, and challenging life transitions.

• Collaborate with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leads, provider support personnel, and clinical leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within the United States.

• Possess an active, independent California clinical license: LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.

• Hold a master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Prior experience with older adult or geriatric populations is preferred.

• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Experience with Medicare billing is advantageous.

• Full-time W2 employment status.

• Availability to start with 25 hours per week, with the potential to increase hours.

• Commitment to at least 15 weekly sessions with Sailor Health.

• Hold an active, unrestricted license that permits independent practice without clinical supervision.
