Mental Health Therapist – Older Adults, LCSW, LMFT, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to senior clients through telehealth services.

• Develop personalized treatment strategies tailored to each patient’s objectives and requirements.

• Oversee an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with guidance from the care team.

• Maintain documentation in the EMR using AI-supported notes.

• Engage in regular, compensated case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Collaborate with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leads, and provider support staff.

• Provide therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy to patients covered by Medicare.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Hold an active, independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent) in the state where the position is located.

• Possess a Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Experience with older adult or geriatric populations is preferred.

• Proficient with telehealth technology and electronic health records.

• Experience with Medicare billing is advantageous.

• Minimum availability of at least 15 weekly sessions is required.

• Ability to practice independently without clinical supervision is necessary.
