Mental Health Therapist – Older Adults, LCSW, LMFT, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to senior adults through telehealth services.

• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals and requirements.

• Oversee an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with the assistance of a care team.

• Document patient information in the EMR using AI-supported notes.

• Participate in regular, compensated case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Provide therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy for older adults under Medicare coverage.

• Collaborate with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leads, provider support staff, and clinical directors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Hold an active, independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent) in the state where this position is advertised.

• Possess a master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Preferred experience with older adult or geriatric populations.

• Proficient with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Experience with Medicare billing is a plus.

• Availability as a 1099 contractor starting at 15 hours per week, or as a W2 employee beginning at 25 hours per week.

• Must be prepared to conduct at least 15 therapy sessions weekly with Sailor Health.

• Must possess at least one active, unrestricted license that allows for independent practice without clinical supervision.
