Mental Health Therapist – Older Adults, LCSW, LMFT, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to senior adults through telehealth services.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals and requirements.

• Oversee an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with support from the care team.

• Complete documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) using AI-assisted notes.

• Participate in regular, compensated case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Communicate availability so Sailor Health can appropriately match patients to the clinician’s caseload.

• Collaborate with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leads, and support staff.

• Assist older adults in navigating grief, loss, isolation, and challenging life transitions through Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Hold an active, independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent) in the state where this position is advertised.

• Possess a Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Experience working with older adult or geriatric populations is preferred.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records is essential.

• Experience with Medicare billing is an advantage.

• Must be willing to conduct at least 15 sessions per week.

• 1099 contractor role begins at 15 hours per week.

• W2 employee role commences at 25 hours per week.
