Mental Health Therapist – Older Adults, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to elderly patients through telehealth services.

• Develop customized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals and requirements.

• Oversee an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with guidance from the care team.

• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR utilizing AI-assisted notes.

• Participate in regular, compensated case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Offer care centered on grief, loss, isolation, and challenging life transitions among older adults.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States.

• Hold an active, independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent) in the state where this position is available.

• Possess a Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Experience with older adult or geriatric populations is preferred.

• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Familiarity with Medicare billing is advantageous.

• 1099 contractor positions commence at 15 hours per week.

• W2 employee positions begin at 25 hours per week.

• Must aim for a minimum of 15 weekly sessions with Sailor Health.
