Mental Health Therapist – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Provide therapy services for individuals and families.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to client needs.

• Perform intake assessments for new clients.

• Complete necessary insurance review documentation.

• Participate in treatment team discussions and assist with discharge planning.

• Facilitate IOP group sessions as required.

• Engage in therapeutic dialogues with clients, their families, and healthcare providers.

• Offer holistic, patient-focused mental health support in a virtual intensive outpatient program.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess full clinical licensure in Maryland.

• Preference for Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC); provisional licensure may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

• A minimum of one year of experience using relational, experiential, and systemic approaches is preferred.

• At least two years of experience as a licensed therapist conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions is preferred.

• Proficiency in DBT, TF-CBT, and/or ERP is required.

• Experience working with adolescents and young adults is essential.

• Strong preference for candidates with online therapy experience.

• Availability for some group hours from Monday to Thursday, between 4 to 10 pm EST.
