Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Offer psychosocial support and educational services to individuals, couples, and families aged 13 and older

• Operate at the highest level of licensure with assistance from the clinical care team

• Develop and enhance the mental health practice at MinuteClinic

• Provide evidence-based assessments, treatment planning, and short-term counseling

• Utilize virtual therapy delivery methods and electronic health record systems

• Ensure continuity of care for patients

• Collaborate with both the clinical care team and the communities of the patients

⛳️ Requirements

• Active, unrestricted state license as an LCSW, LPC, LMHC/LCMHC, or LMFT

• Must hold a license in Texas or Florida

• Required to obtain licenses for practice in multiple states based on organizational needs

• Demonstrated excellence in diagnostic skills, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling

• Experience using evidence-based methodologies, including motivational interviewing, problem-solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy

• Completed a Master’s degree program from an accredited institution

• Proven exceptional interpersonal and teamwork abilities

• Familiarity with or eagerness to learn and adapt to virtual therapy delivery methods

• Strong understanding of the psychosocial dimensions of health and illness

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and various platforms

• Knowledge of insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing requirements

• Strong skills in crisis intervention

• Previous experience in a mental health clinic or hospital setting
