Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide telehealth therapy services to patients aged 13 and above.

• Offer psychosocial support and education to individuals, couples, and families aged 13 and older.

• Develop and enhance the Minute Clinic practice.

• Operate at the highest level of your license with assistance from the clinical care team.

• Utilize evidence-based assessment and treatment planning instruments.

• Ensure continuity of care for patients.

• Provide diagnostic services, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling.

• Engage with patients within their communities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Utah, Oregon, and/or California.

• Must be prepared to acquire additional state licensure.

• Hold a current, active, and unencumbered independent state license in California, Oregon, and/or Utah.

• Demonstrated excellence in diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling capabilities.

• Experience in employing evidence-based methodologies such as motivational interviewing, problem-solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

• Completed a Master’s degree program from an accredited institution.

• Proven exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills.

• Strong understanding of the psychosocial dimensions of health and illness.

• Familiarity with insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing requirements.

• Evidence of strong crisis intervention abilities.

• Previous experience in a mental health clinic or hospital environment.
