Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver mental health therapy and psychosocial support to individuals, couples, and families aged 13 and older.

• Operate at the highest level of your license with assistance from the clinical care team.

• Develop and enhance the Minute Clinic practice.

• Utilize assessment and treatment planning tools to ensure continuity of care.

• Provide evidence-based short-term counseling and therapeutic interventions.

• Collaborate on patient care and offer education focused on mental well-being.

• Offer support to clients located in Washington state and/or California.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered state license as an LCSW, LICSW, LPCC, LMHC, or LMFT.

• Willingness and ability to acquire additional state licensure as needed.

• Demonstrated skills in diagnosis, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling.

• Experience using evidence-based approaches, including motivational interviewing, problem-solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

• Completed a Master’s degree program from an accredited institution.

• Must possess a license in California and/or Washington state.

• Capability to assist clients aged 13 and above.

• Experience with or openness to adapting to virtual therapy delivery methods.

• Proficient with technology and comfortable navigating electronic health record systems and various platforms.

• Knowledge of insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing processes.

• Skills in crisis intervention.

• Prior experience in a mental health clinic or hospital environment.
