This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
β’ Perform thorough evaluations of behavioral, emotional, and mental health requirements.
β’ Create personalized treatment strategies that align with client objectives.
β’ Offer evidence-based individual and family therapy utilizing approaches such as CBT and DBT.
β’ Provide care remotely through telehealth services.
β’ Monitor client advancements and modify treatment plans as necessary.
β’ Ensure precise and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment results.
β’ Collaborate with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare providers.
β’ Share treatment plans, progress updates, and recommendations with clients, families, and relevant stakeholders.
β’ Offer crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress.
β’ Formulate safety plans and strategies to avert or mitigate crises.
β’ Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping techniques.
β’ Maintain a consistent patient load that aligns with contracted hours and organizational access requirements.
β’ Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field in behavioral health.
β’ Active independent clinical licensure in at least one of Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia.
β’ At least 3 years of clinical experience providing therapy to youth, adults, and individuals facing behavioral health challenges.
β’ Experience working with patients aged 13 and older.
β’ Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions.
β’ Exceptional communication, relationship-building, documentation, and organizational abilities.
β’ Experience in delivering telehealth services.
β’ Willingness to pursue licensure in additional states is preferred.
β’ Experience with specialized populations or treatment areas such as trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, or grief and loss is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Athena One EHR and electronic health record documentation standards is preferred.
