MedTech Women's Health Procedural Specialist, Mammographer/Breast Sonographer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Train and educate physicians, hospital staff, and healthcare personnel on technical and clinical aspects related to Women's Health products.

• Provide clinical expertise and procedural case support during customer implementations and educational events.

• Organize and conduct individual in-services, group training sessions, and educational programs for physicians.

• Build and sustain professional relationships with physicians, hospitals, imaging centers, and healthcare providers.

• Facilitate product adoption and assist healthcare providers in exploring new clinical applications and usage opportunities.

• Act as a clinical resource for customer inquiries regarding product usage, procedural techniques, and best practices.

• Monitor and relay market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence that influence product usage and customer satisfaction.

• Address customer complaints, manage product returns, and resolve product-related issues according to established guidelines.

• Complete procedural specialist reports, expense reports, monthly activity tracking reports, and documentation of complaints.

• Maintain company-issued equipment, vehicles, and property in accordance with company standards.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet business needs and territory goals.

• Support vacant territories and undertake special projects as directed by leadership.

• Provide feedback from customers to corporate teams for ongoing improvement and product innovation.

• Travel frequently within the designated region, including some overnight stays as required.

• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate physician procedures, customer training sessions, product implementations, and educational events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current certification and/or credentialing as a Mammography Technologist, Ultrasound Technologist, or similar Women's Health Imaging Professional.

• An Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Imaging, Health Sciences, or a related technical field is mandatory for diagnostic imaging professionals.

• A valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license is required for registered nurses.

• An Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is necessary for registered nurses.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Women's Health is essential for diagnostic imaging professionals.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in Women's Health, Breast Health, Radiology, Imaging Services, Surgical Services, or related specialties is required for registered nurses.

• Current professional certifications and clinical credentials are mandatory.

• Advanced understanding of breast imaging, breast biopsy procedures, breast surgery workflows, and Women's Health clinical practices is necessary.

• Strong skills in presentation, communication, and adult learning are required.

• Ability to effectively educate physicians, clinical staff, and healthcare administrators.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Self-driven professional capable of working independently with minimal oversight.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong computer skills are essential.

• Ability to accurately fulfill documentation and reporting requirements.

• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.

• Capability to obtain and maintain hospital vendor credentialing.

• Current immunizations and compliance with healthcare facility requirements may be necessary.

• Prior experience in conducting physician and staff education programs is preferred.

• Experience in supporting medical device implementations and procedural training is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Women's Health product technologies and clinical applications is important.

• Knowledge of breast anatomy, imaging workflows, and diagnostic procedures is required.

• Understanding of medical and surgical terminology is essential.

• Experience in supporting breast biopsy procedures and related Women's Health interventions is advantageous.

• Previous industry experience in Medical Device, Women's Health, Diagnostic Imaging, or Breast Health sectors is preferred.
