Medior 3D XR Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Develop interactive medical procedures utilizing clean, modular C# code within Unity.

• Create reusable systems for surgical and anesthetic modules.

• Integrate high-quality 3D assets with the engine while ensuring optimal performance.

• Enhance lighting, shaders, and assets to maintain a consistent FPS on standalone Quest 3 headsets.

• Investigate and implement AI tools to streamline development processes.

• Design dynamic, non-linear training scenarios.

• Convert medical protocols into effective state-machine logic.

• Code realistic behaviors for virtual medical equipment and patient responses.

• Execute xAPI telemetry to monitor student progress.

• Ensure seamless communication with centralized digital infrastructures and Learning Management Systems/LRS.

• Work collaboratively with 3D artists and medical professionals on scalable medical simulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional experience in developing real-time Unity applications and environments.

• Proven ownership from concept to delivery.

• Highly skilled in Unity.

• Ability to ship features, enhance existing systems, and tackle complex technical challenges confidently.

• Experience in game studios, XR agencies, or industrial simulation companies.

• Understanding of delivering real-world 3D projects.

• Experience in creating digital training, serious games, or simulation-based projects where accuracy, usability, and performance are essential is a plus.
