Medicare Service Advocate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage with members through both outbound and inbound calls.

• Interact with members via video conferencing and/or SMS.

• Address inquiries and resolve issues for members.

• Offer comprehensive education on benefits usage, plans, claims, medical, dental, prescriptions, and value-added services.

• Advocate for Medicare members while assisting them in navigating health plan benefits.

• Execute high-touch omnichannel outreach campaigns.

• Record and monitor member interactions.

• Inform members about self-service options available to them.

• Respond to inquiries from Medicare Advantage members.

• Adhere to campaign guidelines while exceeding member expectations.

• Take ownership and ensure follow-through on commitments made.

• Collaborate in a team-oriented and production-driven environment to provide exceptional service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in any industry.

• Capability to creatively resolve member issues and a strong desire to assist and advocate for them.

• Proven problem-solving skills with a demonstrated sense of ownership.

• Display empathy, compassion, and effective listening abilities.

• Familiarity with window-based applications.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Preferred: Demonstrated leadership skills.

• Preferred: Skill in de-escalating tense situations.

• Preferred: Strong communication and documentation abilities.

• Preferred: Quick learner with the ability to apply new skills effectively.

• Preferred: Proven multitasking and problem-solving capabilities.
