This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.
• Lead or co-lead projects of moderate complexity, effectively managing time and resources.
• Utilize skills and knowledge to support departmental initiatives.
• Make informed decisions to address moderately complex issues and operate independently in ambiguous circumstances, following established policies.
• Work autonomously on assignments, receiving guidance for unusual or intricate problems.
• Review personal work, seek constructive feedback, and mentor colleagues by assessing their contributions.
• Collaborate with project team specialists to formulate strategic documents and messaging.
• Ensure that documents adhere to internal standards, are ready for submission, and are stored correctly.
• Confirm document accuracy by referencing source materials, including clinical regulatory documents and data.
• Lead author teams on complex projects.
• Conduct Quality Control reviews.
• Participate in colleague training focused on quality standards and processes.
• BA/BS or MBA/MS with relevant experience, or PhD/JD with any relevant experience, or Associate's degree with significant relevant experience, or High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with extensive relevant experience.
• Proven experience in document quality control and/or medical writing within the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
• Experience engaging with cross-functional study team members.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical trials.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capability to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks within defined objectives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• A Master's degree is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with software commonly used for data presentation and analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate independently in ambiguous situations.
• Experience leading or co-leading projects.
• Experience training colleagues on quality standards and procedures.
• Experience utilizing common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to facilitate problem-solving and enhance productivity.
• An eagerness to explore how AI tools can improve outcomes and a solid understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical considerations.
