Freelance Writer – Korean

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Develop a high-quality short narrative of around 3,900 eojeol to assist in testing and enhancing Machine Translation technology.

• Present a concise plot outline for approval prior to crafting the narrative.

• Finalize the approved narrative within the designated timeframe.

• Make necessary revisions based on feedback received.

• Write within a specified preferred genre: Kids, Thriller/Mystery, Sci-fi/Fantasy, Self-help, Romance, or Memoir/Biography.

• Submissions will remain unpublished and undistributed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in South Korea.

• Native-level fluency and exceptional writing skills in Korean (including grammar and spelling).

• Proficient in English (all communications and guidelines will be provided in English).

• Possession of a degree in Literature or Creative Writing and/or demonstrable experience in writing or content creation.

• Strong preference for candidates with published works and/or high-quality writing samples in relevant genres.

• Capability to complete one short narrative of approximately 3,900 eojeol.

• Availability for about 16.75 hours over a two-week period.

• Willingness to make revisions based on feedback as necessary.
