Staff Technical Marketing Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Craft blog articles, guides, video outlines, and tutorials aimed at developers, creators, AI-native builders, and marketers.

• Manage SEO and on-page optimization efforts, collaborating with external SEO experts and web development teams.

• Develop explainers, how-tos, and conceptual overviews to make video AI comprehensible for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Produce technical articles for developer forums, industry publications, and news outlets.

• Assist with email and social media copy where technical precision or product nuances are crucial.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and partner marketing teams to remain informed about TwelveLabs' offerings and roadmap.

• Articulate how TwelveLabs models integrate with tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and MCP servers.

• Analyze competitor and broader video AI communications to enhance TwelveLabs' market positioning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in writing technical or product content for a diverse audience, including developers and less technical end-users.

• A portfolio that demonstrates the ability to clarify complex technical topics without oversimplifying and to adapt tone for different audiences.

• Sufficient technical knowledge to read documentation, follow code examples, or engage in engineering discussions.

• Familiarity with SEO best practices.

• Strong skills in structuring guides and tutorials.

• Ability to navigate between long-form guides, forum posts, and social media captions.

• Knowledge of video, multimodal AI, or computer vision concepts is preferred.

• Experience with writing about or utilizing Claude, ChatGPT, or MCP servers is preferred.

• Background in writing for developer communities such as forums, Dev.to, Hacker News, or Reddit is preferred.

• Basic familiarity with Git, APIs, or SDKs is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% annually.

• Availability to participate in on-site interviews and/or in-person onboarding processes as necessary.
