Medical Virtual Assistant, RN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare and organize medical record documentation and charts for physicians.

• Ensure compliance of medical records through self-documentation attestation.

• Update patient histories, physical examinations, and other relevant health information.

• Compile and send documentation to physicians for their review and approval.

• Monitor the processing time for basic lab results and screening procedures.

• Adhere to hospital and medical facility policies, including HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.

• Execute clerical tasks to enhance provider productivity and clinic workflow.

• Evaluate, review, and implement relevant criteria.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant (healthcare account).

• Must be a Registered Nurse or a BSN graduate.

• Personal laptop or desktop must be available for remote work.

• Laptop/desktop should have at least an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor and 8GB RAM.

• Willingness to work during evenings.

• Open to a nightshift schedule.

• Familiarity with HIPAA and Joint Commission-related policies.

• Competence in executing detailed data entry and adhering to facility-specific procedures.
