This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Assist a VP of Area Sales.
• Oversee and prioritize the VP’s calendar, meetings, and attendees.
• Collaborate with the communications team to coordinate the VP’s speaking engagements at events.
• Organize and plan meetings, including creating agendas, securing locations, managing technology, logistics, briefing documents, notes, and action items.
• Prepare travel packages for international trips and significant domestic events.
• Serve as an authorized proxy for communications and approvals.
• Address general inquiries, direct routine matters, and follow up on resolutions.
• Resolve issues in accordance with policies and guidelines while mentoring other administrative community members on problem-solving.
• Arrange global travel itineraries, manage Cisco expenses, and facilitate airline upgrades.
• Provide analytical support for special executive projects, including research, data analysis, and report preparation.
• Prepare and brief itineraries and accompany the VP at major corporate events like GSX.
• Manage sensitive and confidential matters and materials.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an administrative setting.
• At least 2 years’ experience providing support to a principal at the director level or higher.
• Proficient in Windows desktop applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in managing calendars, planning meetings, and coordinating travel.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build connections with executive and senior staff as well as clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills along with independent judgment.
• Highest level of integrity and capability to balance strategic and tactical initiatives.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
• Preferred: experience in the high-tech industry.
• Preferred: prior experience with Cisco.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree.
