This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
β’ Process and manage prior authorization requests, especially for medications.
β’ Collaborate with insurance providers and pharmacies to secure approvals and address authorization challenges.
β’ Monitor pending requests, keep track of statuses, and ensure precise documentation.
β’ Manage incoming and outgoing communications with patients, pharmacies, and insurance representatives.
β’ Address patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
β’ Facilitate pharmacy communications and medication-related requests.
β’ Offer virtual receptionist assistance and support general front-desk inquiries.
β’ Schedule, reschedule, and organize patient appointments.
β’ Oversee, organize, and reply to emails.
β’ Process patient referrals and handle incoming and outgoing faxes.
β’ Monitor and respond to patient messages through Charm EHR.
β’ Keep accurate patient records and assist with daily administrative functions.
β’ Practical experience in prior authorization, including processing, tracking, and following up on requests.
β’ Prior work experience in a behavioral health, mental health, or general healthcare environment.
β’ Proficient in managing inbound and outbound calls, including patient inquiries and pharmacy coordination.
β’ Experience in patient scheduling, email management, referrals, and other medical administrative duties.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
β’ Training or certification in HIPAA and a solid understanding of patient confidentiality.
β’ Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and the capability to handle multiple tasks accurately.
β’ Comfortable using healthcare software and navigating various systems.
β’ Dependable, proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
β’ Patient, empathetic, and professional in communication with patients.
β’ Availability for a required 20-hour weekly schedule in Central Time.
β’ Relevant professional experience.
β’ Capacity to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance prior to onboarding.
β’ Willingness to participate in video meetings with the camera on as needed.
β’ A reliable computer, minimum 25 Mbps stable high-speed internet, noise-canceling headset, working webcam, and a quiet professional workspace are essential.
β’ A medical degree or professional medical license is not necessary.
