This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Build and enhance strategic partnerships with retina specialists, ophthalmologists, and key customer accounts within the territory.
• Implement territory business strategies to meet sales targets and foster the growth of Regeneron’s ophthalmology portfolio.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals on clinical information, product advantages, patient identification, and treatment pathways.
• Collaborate with clients to uncover opportunities that boost patient access and improve treatment results.
• Navigate intricate account environments utilizing business acumen and strategic account management expertise.
• Work cross-functionally to meet customer needs and offer solutions that support practice success.
• Assess market trends, customer insights, and territory dynamics to guide business planning and prioritization.
• Oversee a geographically diverse territory while balancing customer interaction, business objectives, and travel obligations.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the ophthalmology and retina landscape, including competitive, reimbursement, and market developments.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of specialty sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• Proven track record of exceptional sales performance and consistent achievement of territory goals and business objectives.
• Experience in selling biologics and buy-and-bill products in specialty healthcare environments.
• Strong knowledge of reimbursement programs, government initiatives, managed care, formulary processes, and contract negotiations.
• Ophthalmology sales experience preferred; experience focused on retina is highly desired.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate strategic relationships with physicians, retina specialists, and other key customer stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and account management skills.
• Excellent communication, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Must live within or near the designated Tennessee, Alabama, Pensacola to Tallahassee, Florida territory; relocation assistance is not available.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40–60% of the time.
