This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Act as a clinical team member tasked with data review for healthcare professionals.
• Confirm subject eligibility based on their medical history.
• Implement protocol-defined study criteria to evaluate safety, tolerability, immunogenicity, and efficacy data.
• Analyze both serious and non-serious adverse events.
• Prepare and respond to inquiries from study sites.
• Guarantee the precise and timely reconciliation of safety data.
• Examine reactogenicity data in eDiaries or EDC systems for adherence to protocols.
• Assist the lead clinician with the review and interpretation of aggregate data.
• Create and manage safety narratives.
• Design presentation slides for both internal and external purposes.
• Supervise or engage in safety narrative authoring processes.
• Conduct literature reviews and perform data cleaning tasks.
• Review training documentation.
• Participate in safety monitoring meetings and aid in the creation of PowerPoint presentations.
• Provide support for additional study startup or operational tasks, which may include eDiary design, feasibility assessments, reviews of informed consent documents, draft protocol evaluations, safety presentations, and site interactions for safety follow-ups, protocol compliance, or training.
• A medical degree (MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Previous experience as a medical monitor is essential.
• Experience in safety data review, encompassing both serious and non-serious adverse events.
• Participation in an interventional clinical trial within the last 3 years is required.
• Familiarity with EDC platforms is necessary.
• Strong capability to critically assess medical and scientific information.
• Comprehensive understanding of clinical study design, development, and execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Comfort with complex medical reviews involving pediatric, adult, and obstetric populations.
• At least 2 years of direct patient care experience after residency is preferred.
• Experience with J Review or a similar data review system is advantageous.
• Training and experience in infectious diseases and/or infection control within a hospital environment are preferred.
• Relevant specialty experience may include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, or Pediatrics.
