This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert in Immunology-Dermatology for AbbVie Medical Affairs within the designated territory.
β’ Establish and nurture professional scientific relationships with external experts and healthcare providers.
β’ Serve as the Medical Affairs liaison for external experts needing scientific information.
β’ Create and implement scientific interaction and cycle plans.
β’ Contribute to collaborative account planning across various functions.
β’ Facilitate research and educational activities at prominent academic institutions.
β’ Address requests for medical and scientific information regarding products and therapeutic areas.
β’ Present scientific updates to sales, marketing, and Affiliate Brand Team members.
β’ Work collaboratively with in-field colleagues while maintaining functional independence.
β’ Assist in the initiation, oversight, and follow-up of GMA studies and medical initiatives.
β’ Support prioritized interventional studies through initiation visits and act as a subject matter expert.
β’ Facilitate the development of investigator-initiated study proposals and support requests.
β’ Deliver scientific presentations to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
β’ Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences.
β’ Summarize key data and scientifically important information.
β’ Provide scientific and technical assistance for scientific or medical publications.
β’ Ensure all activities are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, codes, policies, SOPs, and best practice standards.
β’ Must possess Saudi Nationality.
β’ Preferred experience of 1 - 2 years or more in Medical Affairs, particularly in Immunology & Dermatology.
β’ An advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD) in a relevant scientific field is preferred; however, candidates with an undergraduate degree and relevant experience will also be considered.
β’ Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape and the role of Medical Affairs.
β’ Proven expertise in scientific methods used in clinical research.
β’ Familiarity with current legislative and regulatory controls related to clinical research.
β’ Capability to quickly learn about new subject areas and environments.
β’ Excellent proficiency in written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
β’ Ability to develop and sustain collaborative relationships with thought leaders, physicians, and healthcare decision-makers.
β’ Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.

β’ Willingness to travel regularly, approximately 50% of the time.
