This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Gather and uphold essential scientific knowledge to relay reliable information to external experts and other healthcare professionals.

• Engage in investigator-initiated studies, clinical trials, and pertinent medical projects, while providing necessary follow-up.

• Offer scientific support and help sustain relationships with external experts and academic institutions.

• Deliver trustworthy presentations on various scientific subjects to healthcare professionals, whether individually or in groups.

• Assist in identifying qualified healthcare professionals for collaborative efforts, including research and support for conferences and meetings.

• Ensure the integrity of scientific or informational content shared during collaborations.

• Attend relevant meetings and conferences, and prepare summaries of the key data presented.

• Build and maintain relationships and scientific credibility with external experts and new stakeholders.

• Address inquiries by providing essential scientific and medical information to both external experts and internal stakeholders.

• Cover the province of Quebec and Atlantic Canada in the field.


⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree in a scientific field, such as PharmD, MD, or PhD, is required.

• Relevant business experience along with a robust understanding of the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

• Experience as a Medical Science Liaison, with a minimum of 2 years preferred.

• Background in the Eye Care/Ophthalmology therapeutic area is advantageous.

• Experience in a customer-facing position within the healthcare sector.

• Aptitude for presenting and/or interpreting scientific publications or clinical research findings.

• Knowledge of scientific methods applicable to clinical research and the current legal and regulatory frameworks in this field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

• Comfortable with technology and adept at utilizing various tools and systems.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.

• Possession of a valid driver's license and passport.

• Advanced proficiency in English and a high level of fluency in the language are essential for the role.
