This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Serve as the primary medical liaison in the designated geographic region.
• Maintain expertise in clinical and scientific aspects of oncology, with a focus on locally advanced prostate cancer and solid tumors.
• Engage with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and scientific communities to facilitate compliant peer-to-peer scientific discussions.
• Build and sustain long-term relationships with KOLs, along with developing engagement plans.
• Oversee and grow the assigned territory effectively.
• Address and document unsolicited inquiries related to medical and scientific information.
• Collaborate with R&D to support clinical trial sites and investigators.
• Conduct profiling of KOLs and top accounts/institutions prior to product launch.
• Work in compliance with commercial colleagues on account engagement initiatives.
• Provide internal teams with feedback and insights gathered from KOL interactions.
• Represent the organization at medical meetings, scientific exhibits, and congresses.
• Comply with corporate standard operating procedures and legal regulations.
• Offer medical support, clinical input, and training to internal teams.
• Communicate clinical, economic, outcomes, and value-related data to healthcare practitioners, formulary members, and payers.
• An advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA) is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL).
• At least 1 year of experience in oncology and/or immunology as an MSL.
• Familiarity with viral immunotherapy and gene therapy is essential.
• For Senior MSL positions: a minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
• Senior MSL candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in rare diseases, oncology, and/or immunology.
• Experience in genitourinary oncology is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience with product launches is mandatory.
• Strong scientific, business, and clinical insight is vital.
• Excellent communication and networking abilities are essential.
• Capability to interpret and present scientific data effectively to KOLs.
• Knowledge of standards of care for prostate cancer is necessary.
• Ability to convey complex scientific, value, and evidence data to payers and/or formulary committees.
• Familiarity with NCCN Guidelines, NCI Cooperative Groups, and Oncology Research Consortiums is required.
• Knowledge of institutions and clinics within the selected geographies is important.
