📋 Description

• Create and execute a scientific engagement strategy for the North Texas/Oklahoma region

• Build and nurture professional relationships with community and academic thought leaders/KOLs

• Facilitate high-quality, reciprocal scientific exchanges with healthcare professionals

• Gather, synthesize, and utilize clinical, scientific, competitive, and territory-specific information

• Utilize AI tools and insights to enhance decision-making, processes, efficiency, and outcomes

• Observe competitors and integrate evidence-based clinical context into engagement strategies

• Present scientific data through discussions and presentations customized to HCP requirements

• Recognize challenges and unmet needs, proposing evidence-based solutions or educational programs

• Identify, gather, and deliver actionable insights to guide medical strategy and cross-functional discussions

• Address unsolicited inquiries regarding J&J products and research

• Assist investigators and internal partners with company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies

• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, R&D, Clinical Operations, Sales, Marketing, and other internal teams

• Maintain scientific expertise through self-directed reading, journal clubs, seminars, congresses, and peer discussions

• Promote inclusion and belonging within the organization and in external engagements

• Stay informed about regulatory, healthcare compliance, corporate conduct, and Medical Affairs requirements

• Develop and implement a performance and development plan in conjunction with the Field Director

• Accurately and compliantly complete administrative documentation and expense reporting

⛳️ Requirements

• A Doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience is mandatory (PharmD, PhD, MD, Advanced Practice Providers)

• Postgraduate experience is necessary for Doctoral-level candidates, with a preference for clinical experience in therapeutic areas

• Extensive scientific and/or therapeutic knowledge

• Familiarity with research and/or healthcare systems

• Competence in data collection and analysis, clinical expertise, problem-solving, interpersonal influence, cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and competitive landscape analysis

• Capability to support a specific territory with up to 70% travel

• A valid US Driver’s License is required

• 2+ years of pertinent experience is preferred, ideally in an MSL role

• 2+ years of therapeutic area experience is preferred

• Completion of a residency/fellowship is preferred

• Board certification for clinical degrees is preferred

• Proven dedication to learning about emerging technologies, including AI

• Must reside in a major metropolitan area; preference for Tulsa or Oklahoma City
