Medical Science Liaison, Oncology Lung-Head & Neck

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design and execute a scientific engagement strategy for the Jacksonville, FL (North) region.

• Build and nurture professional relationships with community and academic opinion leaders/KOLs.

• Facilitate high-quality, reciprocal scientific exchanges with healthcare professionals.

• Gather, synthesize, and utilize clinical, scientific, competitive, and territory-specific information.

• Utilize AI tools and insights to enhance decision-making, processes, efficiency, and outcomes.

• Present scientific data through tailored dialogues and presentations that meet HCP needs.

• Identify challenges and unmet needs, proposing evidence-based solutions or educational initiatives.

• Submit actionable insights that align with the organization’s strategic priorities.

• Address unsolicited inquiries regarding J&J products and research.

• Support both company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.

• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, R&D, Clinical Operations, Sales, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders.

• Maintain scientific knowledge through self-study, journal clubs, seminars, congresses, and discussions with peers.

• Create and execute a performance and development plan in conjunction with the Field Director.

• Accurately and compliantly complete administrative documentation and expense reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Doctorate level degree or equivalent experience is mandatory (PharmD, PhD, MD, Advanced Practice Providers).

• Postgraduate experience is essential for candidates with Doctoral degrees.

• Extensive scientific and/or therapeutic knowledge is required.

• Familiarity with research and/or the healthcare system is necessary.

• Expertise in data collection and analysis, clinical proficiency, problem-solving, interpersonal influence, cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and competitive landscape evaluation is crucial.

• Willingness to travel up to 70% to support a specific territory.

• A valid US Driver’s License is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a MSL role.

• At least 2 years of experience in the therapeutic area is preferred.

• Completion of a residency/fellowship is preferred.

• Board certification for clinical degrees is preferred.

• Proven dedication to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and the application of new tools over time.
