πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Create and execute a scientific engagement strategy for the Ohio region that aligns with Medical Affairs objectives.

β€’ Build and nurture professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in both community and academic settings.

β€’ Facilitate high-quality, reciprocal scientific dialogues with healthcare professionals.

β€’ Gather, analyze, and apply clinical, scientific, competitive, and territory-specific information.

β€’ Utilize AI tools and insights to enhance decision-making, improve processes, boost efficiency, and achieve better outcomes.

β€’ Track competitor activities and integrate evidence-based clinical context into engagement strategies.

β€’ Present scientific data in a way that meets the needs of healthcare professionals through discussions and presentations.

β€’ Identify challenges or unmet needs and recommend evidence-based solutions or educational programs.

β€’ Gather and share actionable insights that inform medical strategies and facilitate cross-functional discussions.

β€’ Address unsolicited inquiries regarding Johnson & Johnson products and research.

β€’ Assist investigators and internal partners with company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.

β€’ Collaborate with MSL field partners, Research & Development, U.S. and Global Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Sales, and Marketing.

β€’ Maintain scientific knowledge through self-study, journal clubs, seminars, conferences, and peer discussions.

β€’ Promote a culture of inclusion and belonging both internally and externally.

β€’ Gain proficiency in regulatory standards, healthcare compliance, corporate conduct, and Medical Affairs SOPs and guidelines.

β€’ Work with the Field Director to create and execute a performance and development strategy.

β€’ Accurately and compliantly meet administrative obligations, including activity documentation and expense reporting.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A Doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience is mandatory (PharmD, PhD, MD, Advanced Practice Providers).

β€’ Postgraduate experience is necessary for Doctoral-level candidates, with a preference for experience in a therapeutic area.

β€’ Extensive scientific and/or therapeutic knowledge is required.

β€’ Knowledge of research and/or healthcare systems is essential.

β€’ Proficiency in data collection and analysis, clinical expertise, problem-solving, interpersonal influence, cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and competitive landscape assessment.

β€’ Must be able to support a specific territory with up to 70% travel, including in-territory and for internal meetings and conferences.

β€’ A valid U.S. Driver’s License is required.

β€’ A demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through ongoing exploration, iteration, and application of new tools.

β€’ Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in an MSL role (preferred).

β€’ At least 2 years of experience in a therapeutic area (preferred).

β€’ Completion of a residency or fellowship is preferred.

β€’ Board certification for clinical degrees is preferred.
