Medical Science Liaison, Neurology – Alzheimer's Disease

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Participate in the dissemination of scientific and medical information with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), researchers, pharmacists, and decision-makers.

• Act as the main clinical and scientific resource for HCPs in the designated territory regarding disease states and Eisai products.

• Ensure the accurate and timely communication of clinical, scientific, and medical information between KOLs/investigators and Medical Affairs as well as development teams.

• Develop and sustain professional relationships with KOLs in the fields of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

• Deliver presentations on clinical and scientific data related to Eisai products and pertinent therapeutic areas.

• Assist in the coordination and support of assigned professional congresses and MSL activities.

• Identify and relay scientific, clinical, and research insights to Medical Affairs.

• Keep up-to-date with knowledge of disease states, study methodologies, clinical information, and product data.

• Implement approved medical platforms, strategies, and MSL initiatives.

• Serve as a technological and scientific resource for cross-functional partners.

• Educate, mentor, and coach less experienced MSLs.

• Aid in supervision and performance evaluation processes.

• Lead special projects and actively contribute to leadership and strategic planning.

• Facilitate the review and follow-up of Investigator-Initiated Studies.

• Support Eisai-sponsored trials and offer recommendations for site selection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an advanced terminal degree in medical or health sciences or a related field (e.g., MD/DO, PhD, PharmD).

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the industry, clinical research, or a related scientific setting.

• At least 3 years of experience required for the Senior MSL title.

• Familiarity with treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, pharmaceutical regulations and compliance practices, and OIG guidelines.

• Extensive scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge.

• Proficiency in communicating complex data sets and educating top KOLs as a scientific peer.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work independently while following compliance and regulatory policies.

• Experience in a matrix environment and understanding of the pharmaceutical corporate landscape.

• Strong computer and technology skills, including proficiency in word processing, slide presentations, spreadsheets, and video conferencing.

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

• Willingness to travel frequently, approximately 60% of the time, including air travel, overnight stays, and occasional weekends.

• Must establish a home-based office within the defined territory.
