Medical Science Liaison, Immunology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as a field-based expert providing scientific, clinical, and therapeutic-area knowledge for AstraZeneca’s lupus program and other immunology compounds under development.

• Participate in scientific discussions with medical and scientific experts, healthcare professionals, and researchers.

• Identify investigators for pre-clinical, clinical, and post-marketing studies.

• Supply actionable insights to internal teams to enhance the value and appropriate application of AstraZeneca products.

• Address customer inquiries with well-rounded clinical and scientific information.

• Present clinical and scientific data that distinguishes AstraZeneca products in the marketplace.

• Provide clinical assistance and deliver data presentations at regional and national levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced Clinical/Science Degree is required (e.g., MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, NP, PA).

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Science Liaison position or equivalent therapeutic experience.

• Familiarity with customer segments and market dynamics.

• Proven expertise in discussing scientific content with diverse audiences.

• Strong time management and organizational abilities.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.

• Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Willingness to travel 50–70% of the time.

• Must reside within the territory.

• Experience in immunology, rheumatology, or biologics is preferred.

• Extensive Medical Science Liaison experience is highly desirable for candidates without a doctorate-level degree.
