This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the main field-based scientific liaison and point of contact for Medical Affairs with thought leaders and healthcare professionals.

• Build and sustain scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the designated territory.

• Provide accurate, fair, balanced, and evidence-based scientific, clinical, and therapeutic information.

• Gather, analyze, and communicate competitive intelligence, clinical trends, treatment patterns, and investigator perspectives.

• Assist in company-sponsored and investigator-initiated trials through site identification, feasibility assessments, initiation, patient accrual discussions, and communication with investigators.

• Facilitate education regarding adverse-event management and address unsolicited medical information inquiries.

• Represent Azurity at scientific congresses, symposia, advisory boards, and investigator meetings.

• Contribute to the planning, execution, and facilitation of advisory boards, consultant meetings, and other scientific engagements.

• Present scientific information and educational sessions to healthcare providers.

• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Operations, Commercial, and strategic alliance partners.

• Keep up-to-date with therapeutic, clinical, product, disease-state, competitive-product, and scientific literature knowledge.

• Assist in internal scientific training and create field-based resources and training materials.

• Manage the designated territory while adhering to Medical Affairs SOPs and regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.

• Travel up to 70% within the US for conferences, KOL interactions, and field activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced terminal degree (PharmD, MD, DO, DNP) or other advanced medical degree (NP, PA, RN, etc.) is mandatory.

• 2–3 years of pertinent work experience in MSL, clinical roles, fellowship, research, or related pharmaceutical industry experience is essential.

• Familiarity or experience in Radiology, Neurology, neuro-oncology, or related academic, community, or specialty care settings is preferred.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are required.

• Capability to deliver compelling and influential oral presentations.

• Strategic thinking and geographical management aptitude.

• Extensive scientific knowledge and ability to convert expert feedback into actionable insights.

• Proficiency in building relationships and networks.

• Ability to work autonomously.

• Strong organizational and decision-making skills.

• Understanding of healthcare systems, medical landscapes, regulatory and payer environments, public health, and industry trends.

• Proficient in digital tools.

• Willingness to travel frequently up to 70%, including occasional weekends, and to fly or drive to meetings.

• Must reside within the Northeast territory or within a 30-minute commute from the nearest territory border.

• Must be capable of sitting for extended periods, frequently standing, walking, sitting, talking, and/or hearing; occasionally climbing stairs or using elevators; lifting or moving up to 25 pounds; and operating keyboards, telephones, and handheld devices.
