This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Identify and establish scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) while maintaining these connections.
• Facilitate connections among KOLs in academic and community settings.
• Serve as the primary liaison for investigators interested in research initiated by them.
• Develop and implement Field Medical and KOL Interaction plans tailored to specific geographical areas.
• Deliver clinical presentations and provide scientific information in various settings, including academic, community, and healthcare provider venues.
• Collaborate with the Clinical organization to improve patient enrollment in clinical trials sponsored by BMS.
• Identify suitable clinical trial sites and engage with investigators involved in ongoing studies.
• Offer scientific support during medical congresses.
• Provide timely feedback and insights on emerging clinical/scientific teams and opportunities to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure fair and balanced scientific exchange when providing medical information.
• Deliver clinical and scientific support for Bristol Myers Squibb and the Medical Affairs team under managerial direction.
• MD, DO, PharmD, DNP, or PhD is required.
• 3–5 years of clinical or research experience in the field of hematology.
• 3–5 years of experience as a medical science liaison.
• Experience in cell therapy is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within cross-functional networks.
• Up-to-date knowledge of US legal, regulatory, and compliance guidelines related to industry interactions with healthcare professionals.
• Capability to build and sustain relationships within the medical community.
• Excellent skills in communication, presentation, and time management.
• Ability to convert scientific or clinical data into clear and valuable information for physicians.
