This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver evidence-based virtual therapy for children and adolescents aged 5 to 17+
• Perform clinical assessments, diagnoses, case conceptualizations, and treatment planning
• Create personalized care plans tailored to developmental, behavioral, and emotional requirements
• Utilize measurement-based care and validated clinical tools to track progress
• Conduct developmentally suitable virtual sessions employing modalities such as CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, TF-CBT, PCIT, and others
• Recognize safety issues, execute safety planning, and offer crisis intervention or escalation as needed
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, educational professionals, and other relevant parties in care coordination
• Ensure timely, precise, HIPAA-compliant documentation in TimelyCare’s electronic health record
• Uphold treatment goals and documentation consistent with professional, ethical, regulatory, and clinical standards
• Generally provide 55-minute therapy sessions, allocating remaining time for documentation
• Possess an active, unrestricted independent clinical license as a Licensed Professional Counselor or equivalent independent counseling license (LPC, LCPC, LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.; LP/LCP as applicable)
• Authorized to independently deliver clinical services within the relevant state
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, and active listening
• Experience engaging with children, adolescents, and families
• Capability to assess and address safety issues, including crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning
• Valid U.S. work authorization required
• Associate or provisionally licensed therapists, school psychologists, and school counselors lacking a clinical therapist license are not eligible
• Preferred: experience in providing pediatric or adolescent behavioral health services via telehealth, school-based programs, outpatient mental health, or community mental health settings
• Preferred: familiarity or certification in evidence-based pediatric and adolescent treatment modalities like TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, PCIT, Parent Management Training, or trauma-informed care
• Preferred: understanding of family systems and developmentally appropriate clinical interventions
• Professional liability coverage for services rendered through TimelyCare, subject to applicable terms and coverage requirements
• Possible partial compensation for qualifying late cancellations and no-shows
• Access to monthly CE opportunities sponsored by APA/ASWB may be available
• Eligibility to join TimelyCare’s provider referral program, subject to program terms
• Remote virtual service provision from an appropriate home or professional office setting
• Contractor autonomy regarding service availability
