This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer virtual therapy services under contract to children and adolescents aged 5–17+
• Conduct evidence-based therapy, clinical assessments, diagnoses, case conceptualizations, and treatment planning
• Create personalized care plans tailored to developmental, behavioral, and emotional requirements and treatment objectives
• Implement measurement-based care through the review of validated clinical metrics and tracking progress
• Provide evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, TF-CBT, and PCIT during virtual sessions
• Recognize safety issues, execute safety planning, and offer crisis intervention or escalation as necessary
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, educational professionals, and other relevant parties for coordinated care
• Ensure timely, precise, HIPAA-compliant documentation in TimelyCare’s electronic health record system
• Uphold treatment objectives and documentation that aligns with professional, ethical, regulatory, and clinical standards
• Generally conduct 55-minute therapy sessions, reserving remaining time for documentation
• Valid, unrestricted independent clinical licensure as an LPC, LCPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.; LP/LCP where applicable)
• Authorization to provide clinical services independently within the relevant state
• Proficient clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, and active listening abilities
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and their families
• Capability to evaluate and address safety issues, including crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning
• Valid U.S. work authorization; sponsorship is not offered
• Associate or provisionally licensed therapists, school psychologists, and school counselors lacking a clinical therapist license are not qualified
• Preferred: Experience in delivering pediatric or adolescent behavioral health services via telehealth, school-based initiatives, outpatient mental health, or community mental health environments
• Preferred: Experience or certification in evidence-based pediatric and adolescent treatment approaches like TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, PCIT, Parent Management Training, or trauma-informed care
• Preferred: Understanding of family systems and developmentally appropriate clinical practices
• Professional liability coverage for services provided through TimelyCare, subject to applicable terms and coverage criteria
• Potential partial compensation for qualifying late cancellations and no-shows
• Access to monthly APA/ASWB sponsored continuing education opportunities may be available
• Eligibility to take part in TimelyCare’s provider referral program, subject to program conditions
• Autonomy as a contractor regarding service availability
• Remote virtual services from a suitable home or professional office setting
