Medical Science Liaison – Biosimilars

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Build and nurture relationships with physicians and other healthcare providers for the purpose of scientific exchange.

• Deliver scientific support for the Company's products, ensuring their safe and effective application.

• Create and update educational materials as well as presentations.

• Address unsolicited inquiries regarding off-label product information in line with regulations and policies.

• Assist healthcare professionals and researchers with publications and clinical trials.

• Work in collaboration with Global Medical, Clinical, and Regulatory Affairs on clinical trials based in the USA.

• Assess Investigator Initiated Trial proposals for potential Company sponsorship.

• Provide training to internal company staff as necessary.

• Collaborate with Global Vigilance and Global Quality & Compliance teams regarding product adverse events and complaints.

• Stay current with scientific knowledge in clinical applications, treatment guidelines, and Company products.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree in a clinical or scientific field is mandatory (e.g., Ph.D. with 5+ years of relevant experience, MD with 5+ years of clinical practice, PharmD with 5+ years of pharmacy experience, or Advanced Practice Provider with 5+ years of clinical experience).

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Science Liaison is preferred.

• Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

• Preferred background in specialty pharmaceuticals, particularly with biological therapies and/or biosimilars.

• Familiarity with Immunology/Inflammation and/or Oncology is desirable.

• Proficient in interpreting and drafting scientific documents.

• Exceptional presentation and communication abilities.

• Competence in communication through virtual platforms and managing electronic shared databases.

• Understanding of pharmaceutical product development and clinical trial design processes.

• Awareness of the US Healthcare system, including reimbursement and access to pharmaceutical therapies.

• Knowledge of relevant regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.

• Proficient in English speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.

• Willingness to travel 40-50%, including overnight stays.

• A valid US driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
