Medical Science Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and utilize relationships with key opinion leaders in therapeutic areas relevant to the company.

• Elevate the scientific knowledge of external stakeholders through scientific exchanges.

• Supply essential field insights and competitive intelligence to Medical Affairs and cross-functional teams.

• Participate in national and regional medical conferences, sharing findings with internal stakeholders.

• Provide medical support at company events and booths.

• Address medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals.

• Support the creation and delivery of training on scientific subjects.

• Aid in the planning and execution of advisory board meetings and focus groups.

• Deliver payer presentations to key accounts.

• Collaborate with R&D and Clinical teams on research initiatives.

• Act as a liaison between investigators and internal stakeholders for investigator-initiated research.

• Engage in Medical Affairs and interdepartmental projects.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with accounts and healthcare professionals.

• Ensure precise travel and expense reporting.

• Uphold compliance with TerSera policies and the Code of Conduct.

• Foster a safe, positive, and professional working environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Clinical and/or research experience within the US Healthcare System.

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to comprehend and effectively convey complex scientific information.

• Demonstrated capability to network and cultivate essential relationships.

• Established history of teamwork, leadership, timely decision-making, and a results-driven approach to achieving key objectives.

• Willingness to travel overnight 60-80% of the time.

• Valid driver's license with an appropriate driving record.

• PharmD, PhD, MD, or BSN/NP qualifications.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a solid understanding of its operations.

• Familiarity with therapeutic areas pertinent to TerSera Therapeutics.
