This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead balanced and objective scientific discussions with healthcare professionals regarding new and emerging data, encompassing both benefits and risks.
• Engage experts as scientific consultants for advisory boards, speaker programs, and clinical trials that align with strategic priorities.
• Identify and nurture relationships with healthcare professionals who demonstrate scientific excellence.
• Provide regional insights into clinical practice patterns, key challenges, and trends to inform medical plans and evidence generation.
• Serve as a regional field-based subject matter expert in product lifecycle management within designated therapeutic areas.
• Utilize scientific exchange to pinpoint research opportunities with healthcare professionals and connect them to the Medical Advisor through the Externally Sponsored Research process.
• Equip priority clinical sites with pertinent molecule and disease expertise during site initiation.
• Collaborate with clinical operations to ensure timely site activation and patient recruitment, adhering to study timelines.
• Act as a trusted scientific partner to oncologists, translating emerging data into clinical treatment decisions.
• Ability to effectively synthesize and communicate scientific information at a peer level with physicians.
• Previous experience as a healthcare professional (PharmD, MD) or scientific expertise, including PhD or MSc.
• A minimum of two years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a physician-facing role.
• Excellent aptitude for learning and a strong grasp of scientific concepts and knowledge.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork capabilities.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Expert knowledge of the healthcare environment, including Opinion Leaders, Academia, and the Medical Community.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally.
• Experience in oncology, particularly gastrointestinal cancers, is preferred.
