This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Target potential medical providers within VA/DOD, office-based medical practices, and healthcare systems.
• Drive business growth in the designated Pacific Northwest region.
• Perform comprehensive product presentations.
• Provide educational materials and training to physicians and medical personnel.
• Employ service-oriented selling techniques, cold-calling, and consultative sales strategies.
• Operate independently while working in conjunction with the National Sales Manager.
• Act as the primary contact for accounts in your territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with care facilities to enhance account penetration and foster long-term growth.
• Develop new accounts, particularly within government facilities.
• Keep an active schedule for outside calls.
• Identify new customers and cultivate existing relationships.
• Oversee the PO contracting process.
• Meet and surpass revenue and sales objectives.
• Achieve gross revenue and patient enrollment goals for Remote Patient Monitoring.
• Acquire new prescribers while retaining current ones.
• Provide precise sales forecasts.
• Analyze market trends and pursue both short- and long-term opportunities with multi-hospital health systems.
• Represent Orpyx at regional trade exhibitions when necessary.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and internal corporate teams.
• Complete necessary sales administration tasks, including sales call documentation and expense reports.
• Maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
• Adhere to quality management system standards.
• Take on additional responsibilities as required in a dynamic, early-stage high-tech setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Sales/Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of sales experience, including strategic selling and negotiation training, preferably in the VA/DOD healthcare sector.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience selling to health systems, outpatient clinics, and government facilities.
• Familiarity with both direct and indirect sales channels.
• Experience engaging with internal team members and external clients using a provocative-based sales methodology.
• Strong business insight and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to grasp technical and clinical details of medical products and terminology.
• Proven record in consultative and strategic selling.
• Understanding of the healthcare continuum and the care pathway selling process.
• Must reside within a 1-hour commute of Portland, Oregon.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
• Comfort with virtual presentations using Teams or Zoom.
• Self-motivated, independent, and adaptable to change.
