📋 Description

• Upload, send, and fax patient medical records and lab reports in response to authorized requests.

• Process legal record requests from law firms, attorneys, and courts.

• Review HIPAA-compliant authorizations and legal releases to ensure suitable access.

• Maintain and update a real-time master intake log using Microsoft Excel.

• Track the statuses of requests, pending actions, and fulfillment deadlines.

• Utilize Valant to access patient charts and medical documentation.

• Employ CoreFax for sending and receiving records.

• Use Hixny to obtain patient charts and diagnostic lab results.

• Utilize Cognito Forms to collect patient paperwork, consents, and request details.

• Use Gab cloud-based VoIP for communication with patients, legal representatives, and external practices.

• Make professional outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries concerning request statuses, missing release details, and authorization verification.

⛳️ Requirements

• High level of computer literacy and capability to work concurrently across various SaaS platforms, web applications, and EMRs.

• Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA guidelines, patient privacy laws, and the legal intricacies related to medical release forms and attorney communications.

• Comfort in a high-volume, repetitive, and fast-paced work environment.

• Ability to manage tasks effectively using a priority-driven workflow system.

• Proven experience in tracking data and updating status logs in Microsoft Excel.

• Professional written and verbal English communication skills for direct interactions with legal teams, medical offices, and patients.
