This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +7 more countries.
• Convert documents from English to the target language or the other way around, delivering translated communications via phone or written form.
• Manage and respond to inquiries related to drug information from healthcare professionals and patients/consumers.
• Provide drug information through verbal communication or written correspondence.
• Recognize adverse events and product complaints during customer interactions.
• Gather information for initial reports on adverse events and product complaints following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Meet the local regulatory authority's requirements for post-marketing adverse event reporting.
• Evaluate necessary information and decide on the appropriate level of detail needed for information collection.
• Draft narratives for adverse events and product complaints, as well as tailored responses to medical inquiries.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and complainants to coordinate quality-related complaint processes.
• Review medical literature and create written materials for healthcare professionals.
• Conduct research on market and competitive products.
• Assist in system development, sales training initiatives, and field liaison activities.
• Carry out medical writing tasks and fulfill assigned on-call duties.
• Enhance the performance metrics and customer service of the Medical Communications Call Centre.
• Degree in Life Sciences or healthcare, or an equivalent qualification.
• Robust clinical background.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in English at a C1 level is mandatory.
• Native proficiency in Italian is crucial.
• Strong skills in translation.
• Fluent in English and native in Spanish.
• Knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese is advantageous.
• Preferred experience in call centers, Medical Information, the pharmaceutical industry, and clinical settings, including medical writing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows applications.
• Familiarity with Medical Information Management Systems, Safety Databases, or similar is preferred.
• Must have legal eligibility to work in the European Union or the UK.
• Willingness to work US hours, with 9-hour shifts between 2pm and 2am CET, from Monday to Friday.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
