Medical Information Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Address medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals, consumers, and caregivers.

• Handle inquiries received through various channels including phone, email, web portals, or mail.

• Record inquiries and responses in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

• Utilize approved medical information resources and internal databases.

• Develop and revise Standard Response Documents, FAQs, and personalized response letters.

• Analyze and summarize published medical and scientific literature.

• Identify, report, and monitor Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints.

• Stay informed about assigned therapeutic areas, disease states, treatment options, and product details.

• Use internal systems for managing, documenting, tracking, and analyzing inquiries.

• Work collaboratively with Medical Information and Medical Affairs teams on congresses, product launches, and significant data releases.

• Contribute to the preparation, review, and delivery of training materials.

• Attend client and stakeholder meetings, taking the lead in discussions when suitable.

• Conduct quality control checks and peer reviews.

• Provide assistance with project-specific guidance documents and the engagement Quality Management System.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate in research or a pharmacy-related qualification (PharmD., RPh).

• 0.5–2 years of experience in medical information.

• Additional experience in scientific writing, content creation, or publications within the life sciences sector.

• Background in pharmaceuticals or science.

• Exceptional call handling and documentation capabilities.

• Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with the IRMS/Veeva platform is preferred but optional.
