This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Independently respond to unsolicited medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals, consumers, patients, caregivers, and payers.
• Research, identify, and critically assess medical literature to formulate responses.
• Accurately document adverse events and product complaints.
• Conduct intake and generate reports on adverse events and product complaints in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Make precise evaluations regarding the extent and depth of information required.
• Compose narratives for adverse events and product complaints and document medical inquiries.
• Manage requests through phone, email, CRM, chat, and various other platforms.
• Oversee processes for addressing product quality-related complaints.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and complainants.
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, therapeutic areas, and client requirements.
• Ensure high-quality documentation, accurate information, and excellent customer service.
• Staff scientific medical affairs booths.
• Fulfill assigned on-call responsibilities.
• Contribute to process enhancements that impact Medical Communications Contact Center metrics.
• Uphold and improve customer service for the Medical Information Contact Center.
• Show a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• An associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field from an accredited institution.
• A strong clinical and healthcare background.
• Capability to interpret and convey medical information clearly and accurately.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Availability to work full-time (40+ hours per week).
• Flexibility with work scheduling as required by clients and management.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Knowledge of FDA post-marketing adverse event reporting regulations and safety terminology.
• Proficiency in critically evaluating medical literature.
• Technological proficiency in telephony, Medical Information databases, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing platforms.
• Expertise in therapeutic areas.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical and healthcare, pharmaceutical industry, or a related field is preferred.
• Direct clinical or patient-facing healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent licensure is preferred.
