This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Conduct analysis on rate trends.
• Generate insights regarding essential financial drivers.
• Share findings with various stakeholders.
• Design and execute payer analytics and economic strategies related to provider rates.
• Examine behavioral health, physical health, and pharmacy data and rates utilizing Excel, SQL, Access, and additional data sources and programs.
• Leverage industry trends and Medicaid fee schedules along with data concepts to inform decision-making.
• Create presentations and supplementary materials to support rate initiatives.
• Engage in projects aimed at improving the rates process.
• Offer technical training and assistance to team members.
• High school diploma or GED with six (6) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics, which includes proficiency in Excel or experience in developing and writing code; OR an Associate's degree with four (4) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics, which includes proficiency in Excel or experience in developing and writing code; OR a Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics, which includes proficiency in Excel or experience in developing and writing code; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Excel or experience in developing and writing code.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Residence within North Carolina is necessary.
• Willingness to travel within the catchment area as needed.
• Preferred: two (2) years or more of experience in the Managed Care industry.
