This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria, +4 more countries.
β’ Act as the Global Lead Medical Monitor for designated pan-regional and/or global trials.
β’ Deliver therapeutic and protocol-specific training to project teams.
β’ Provide medical insights for clinical development initiatives, study protocols, research publications, and client-oriented white papers.
β’ Maintain expertise in assigned projects through participation in internal meetings, review of therapeutic and clinical literature, and attendance at conferences and meetings.
β’ Assist in achieving annual departmental revenue goals and other tasks as designated by senior management.
β’ Review and/or aid in the preparation of final study reports, protocols, ISS/ISEs, and other relevant study documentation.
β’ Support Business Development through proposals, feasibility evaluations, medical-services proposals and contract assessments, and sponsor meetings.
β’ Mentor other medical personnel as instructed by senior management.
β’ Assist senior management in leading the department and the company.
β’ Ensure adherence to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
β’ A medical degree (MD or an internationally recognized equivalent) with a specialization in Neurology is required.
β’ Board certification in Neurology or an internationally recognized equivalent is required.
β’ 6-8 years of experience in the CRO, Pharma, or Biotech sectors in a medical monitoring or study physician capacity.
β’ Possess a valid passport and the ability to travel if necessary.
β’ Working knowledge of GCPs and regulatory standards associated with clinical development and safety.
β’ Experience in reviewing and/or assisting with the preparation of final study reports (CSRs), protocols, ISS/ISEs, or other study-related documentation.
β’ Proven experience in supporting Business Development through proposal generation, feasibility evaluations, medical-services proposal/contract reviews, and sponsor meetings.
β’ Strong clinical/therapeutic knowledge in the relevant medical subspecialty.
β’ Experience in pediatric neurology and/or gene therapy neurology is considered a significant advantage.
