Medical Director – Neurology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to ICON project teams regarding clinical matters.

• Ensure that studies comply with the highest ethical standards and legal regulations.

• Offer expertise in therapeutic areas and drug development.

• Engage with sponsors and investigative sites concerning protocol-related medical issues.

• Contribute to presentations at investigator meetings.

• Review study-related documentation.

• Oversee the review of safety data.

• Assist in Business Development initiatives.

• Offer medical leadership and consultation services.

• Manage operations in the absence of senior management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a medical degree (MD or equivalent).

• Board Certification in Neurology.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Clinical Research within academia, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other CRO sectors.

• Extensive experience in medical affairs.

• Proven ability to build high-performing teams and achieve results.

• Capability to review and assess clinical data effectively.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Established record of providing medical leadership and consultation in pharmaceutical or biotechnology fields.

• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and ethical considerations in clinical research.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to effectively represent the department.

• Demonstrated skill in providing operational management when senior management is unavailable.

• Willingness to travel as needed, approximately 10% of the time.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
