This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Act as the primary point of contact for patients and their families.
• Collect and verify necessary patient and insurance details.
• Accurately input information into the registration system.
• Coordinate patient appointments, including follow-up office visits, referrals, and diagnostic tests/procedures.
• Professionally greet patients both in-person and over the phone.
• Respond to the needs of patients and their families effectively.
• Establish an exceptional atmosphere for care, wellness, and healing.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• For Specialist level: associate degree is preferred.
• For Specialist level: a minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Medical Practice Business Associate or in a comparable healthcare position.
• For Associate level: 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience is required.
• Proficient typing skills.
• Proficient in Windows operating system.
• Familiarity with various computer systems is necessary.
• Candidates must live in Michigan.
• Employees are required to be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella.
• Employees must obtain a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year of hire and annually thereafter, or have an approved medical or religious exemption.
