Medical Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Prepare precise and compliant medical insurance claims for prompt submission.

• Supervise claim submissions to insurance providers while adhering to deadlines.

• Resolve claim denials through resubmissions, comprehensive appeal letters, and resolution efforts.

• Formulate and execute strategies to reduce claim denials.

• Continuously enhance billing processes.

• Remain informed about billing requirements, guidelines, and regulations pertaining to medical specialties, states, and insurance carriers.

• Adjust billing practices to ensure compliance and optimize claim submissions.

• Adhere to client and team policies, procedures, and guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Open to applicants with or without experience; preference will be given to individuals with 1–5 years of medical billing experience.

• Familiarity with PPO, HMO, and MediCal is preferred but not essential.

• Proficiency in navigating Healthcare Practice Management systems is advantageous but not required.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and exceptional time management skills.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Competent data entry skills.

• Typing speed of 40 WPM or greater.

• Capacity to handle and safeguard confidential information.

• Willingness to engage in a consultancy contract for a minimum of 6 months.

• Ability to work from home with dependable internet access and a backup connection.
