Medical Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Accurately prepare and process medical billing

• Submit claims to various insurance providers

• Oversee patient billing records

• Review and validate billing information, correcting any mistakes

• Follow up on outstanding claims within the designated billing cycle

• Utilize medical coding to ensure adherence to federal regulations

• Address patient inquiries related to billing issues or concerns

• Process payments from both insurance companies and patients

• Uphold the confidentiality of patient information

• Navigate insurance platforms to verify patient benefits and follow up on claims

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of medical terminology

• Familiarity with medical office procedures and practices

• Experience in medical billing and coding, particularly with ICD-10 codes

• Competence in managing medical collections effectively

• Knowledge of coding systems used in the healthcare sector

• Proficiency in navigating electronic health records

• Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 10 PM to 7 AM Manila time

• Must observe US Holidays
