Medical Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Process medical claims efficiently.

• Effectively resolve issues.

• Assist with billing inquiries.

• Address inquiries promptly.

• Coach physicians on OHIP billing procedures.

• Manage medical billing claims, including refusals and rejections.

• Communicate with physicians to address and resolve inquiries.

• Utilize billing expertise to enhance customer experiences.

• Contribute to the enhancement of customer satisfaction and claims outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of verified OHIP billing experience.

• Over 4 years of experience in administrative roles and customer service.

• Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong organizational skills coupled with effective time management.

• Keen attention to detail and a customer-centric approach.

• Solid understanding of general computer skills.

• Results-driven and deadline-oriented; capable of maintaining high-quality standards while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within a team.

• Completion of certified courses in Medical Billing or equivalent is a plus.

• Experience with remote work is a plus.
